Summer is Here!
What a wonderful week in Copenhagen! Since last Sunday, the sun shines so bright and the weather is warm. I ended the week by having a lunch with some girls from the Danish course next to the water canal in Nyhavn. We bought some pizzas and we just sat on the streets, chit-chatting and enjoying the atmosphere.
If you haven't heard about Nyhavn, try to google about it and the pictures might attract you to go there. Somehow, I never brought my camera every time I went there and the weather is good. Unlucky enough, I guess. By the way, Nyhavn is one of the main tourist attraction in Copenhagen. It is a canal where there are big boats and house boats park and along the side of the canal there are various colored of buildings, which creates a picturesque view.
There are lots of restaurants and cafes in Nyhavn, and during summer, they place the tables outside so people could enjoy the lovely weather while eating. You could also hear some of the streets musician, playing jazz and other music genres on the streets. Can you imagine how amazing the atmosphere there? For me, it is the place where it really feels that I am in Europe :-D
Since it is a tourism spot, the price of the foods in the restaurants located in Nyhavn are also relatively high. So you have a cheaper option by bringing some take away foods and beers, then just sit on the street side, by the water. Do not worry as lots of people are doing it, so you won't get a strange gaze doing so :)
Hopefully I have the chance to take pictures of Nyhavn before summer is ended, then I'll share the photos with you, here in my blog :)
PS: If you happen visiting Nyhavn, don't forget to try the delicious ice cream with churros at a shop called Rajissimo.
Cheers,
Indispensable Lady
