As I've told you in my earlier post, the Danish course started this morning and I found that I struggled in class as sometimes I still didn't understand what the topic is about and teacher already pointed us one by one, asking a question in Danish and we have to replied back. Yeah, I definitely am a slow starter. Surprisingly, others seem finely catch up with the lesson. At least, they could reply fast when they were pointed. Based on my observation, most of them have Danish parents or boy/girlfriends or fiancee, so they are already familiar with the basic conversation. Others who come from Germany, also have the advantage, since the word in Danish is quite similar to their language.
I don't know for sure, if it was my brain that rotten or I am simply just not good at learning languages. However, it is still exciting though, having the opportunity to learn a new language and I won't give up. I will study harder and practice a lot in order to catch up with the rest of the class. Fortunately, we could download an audio files from the internet, where we could learn the correct pronunciation, so I could practice them at home :)
Anyway, the weather in Copenhagen has been super warm since yesterday. It's amazing how weather could change people moods. I am feeling happy just knowing that I could only use one layer of clothes when going outside, instead of 3 layers. LOL. Since the weather is too good to be missed out, my husband and I decided to spend time at the park, located near our apartment. Apparently, the park was full with family and kids who sunbathing and playing and individuals who simply just enjoying the rarely bright sun :)
Here are some photos from the park, taken by us.
Cheers,
Indispensable Lady
