If I have my own house, I want to have a spacious kitchen near big glass window so the sun could brighten the room in the morning. The design should be minimalist with the combination of white and wooden colored table. Another important element is the kitchen cabinet should have many drawers and shelves to keep all the kitchen utensils away from the countertop as I don't like a messy countertop. It would be wonderful to also have a freestanding kitchen island where I could do some works, especially when baking and perhaps having a breakfast.
As requested by a friend, I will post the photo of my kitchen in current apartment. It's not as I imagined, however it is at least close to what my dream kitchen would be. The things I love about it is:
1. The design
The kitchen was designed with minimalist concept, with the combination of white color cabinets and wooden worktops. It is exactly as I dreamed. And since it is an open kitchen, it is quite spacious.
2. Lots of cabinets
The kitchen has lots of cabinets to put all the utensils away from the countertop.
However it only has small spaces countertops, so when I cook, all the countertops will be full with bowls and pans. Even when I want to bake, I have to move the rice cooker first so I could have more space. Well, it means I definitely need a freestanding kitchen island, right? :-p
