Sixth Sense

I believe every people are gifted with a sixth sense, perhaps not a greater one like being able to see ghost or seeing the future. However, we must once or more have felt when something wrong is going to happen or we already predict that certain things would happen. That's what I felt when leaving house today, I don't what will happen but I have bad feeling that something might go wrong.

This morning my husband and I had to go to the embassy and had to rush to the hospital to meet a mid wive afterwards. The embassy is quite far from the hospital and we've never been to both places so I'm a little bit worried that we might not arrive on time for the appointment. At first everything was doing fine, we arrived on time at the bus stop that driven towards the embassy. However as we didn't print the journey plan, we didn't know how many more stops our destination was, while there was no screen nor announcement regarding the name of the next bus stop at the bus. Then, we managed to find a brochure in the bus, showing every stops passed by the bus.

Apparently, the brochure was not updated, as we got off the bus, we just realized that the bus stop name is different that where we supposed to stop. Hence, we need to walk along more miles in order to arrive at the embassy. By that time, we still thought, well it's alright, we still arrived on time at the embassy. Fortunately everything went smoothly at the embassy and we could leave timely to catch another bus to go the hospital.

Another problem incurred after we hopped off from the bus, we stopped at the right station, but then according to the direction that we wrote, we should be walk straight and then turn right, but as we walked around the block, we couldn't find the hospital. While we decided to go back to the station, we met some guy and we asked him where the hospital is. He showed us that the hospital is actually located just before the bus stop. We didn't see it because instead of turning back, we were going forward.

After we managed to find the hospital, we looked for the mid wife centre. According to the letter from the hospital, the mid wife centre is located at room number 9. We arrived at the room number 9 and we went through an automatic door and entered the room. Inside, there is a door connecting to the mid wife centre, but apparently it was locked and there was a message notified that we should enter the room from the room door number 10. It means we should go through the automatic door again. I stood in front of the automatic door and it wouldn't open. My husband tried other doors and checked the stairs for a way out but there is none. We got stuck in that room and nobody's there.

I was quite worried as we would miss the appointment schedule. I have tried to call the mid wife centre number, but the answering machine was in Danish, that I couldn't understand a single word. Finally my husband pressed the emergency button located near the door, and the door opened so we managed to get out from the room. If I remembered it now, I couldn't help laughing at the silly situation :-D Now I know the reason why I have such bad feeling since morning.

Have you ever had an experience with a sixth sense before?

Cheers,
Indispensable Lady
