I made a shrimp spring roll for the picnic and we planned to buy the best pizza in town, located near the Frederiksberg park, the picnic location that we chose. The sun was shining so bright and the spring roll was ready on time. Everything was seemed fine until when we were on our way to the park, there was a ticket check by these ticket officers, which was rarely happen when you were in a bus. We thought that it was not a problem as my husband already clipped his card and I have this monthly pass that cover the zones for our destination, but then apparently the bus went through another zone which was not covered by monthly pass and we didn't notice that. So the officer fined me 750 kroner as it means I was missing one zone :( That is really sucks as we didn't do that on purpose but the officer wouldn't give any facilitation. Well that surely is one costly learning. My husband made a joke about it and he said that this one was definitely an expensive picnic :-D
It ruined my mood more or less but I tried my best to let go and enjoy our picnic time. The park was lovely though, it is more like a forest instead of a park since there are small rivers, small lake and a lot of trees. There were a lot of people sunbathing in bikinis and shorts at the park and children were playing cheerfully. This is the one activity that I've been longing for when I am in Jakarta, yet we didn't have such beautiful open spaces, so I am really glad that finally I live in a country where you could easily sit around and enjoy the nature without having to go out of town.
I took some pictures of the park. Here they are:
And the last one is our picnic materials, the spring roll is already in our stomach by then so there's no pictures of them :-D
Cheers,
Indispensable Lady
